ABOUT DASC
Who We Are
The Dillsburg Area Soccer Club (DASC) is a non-profit community soccer organization committed to fostering a passion for the game in kids of all ages. The club provides a safe, fun environment where our players can learn the value of teamwork, build self-confidence, achieve individual success and develop good sportsmanship.
DASC offers both travel and recreation team play. Players practice and compete on soccer fields located at Logan Park, Chestnut Ridge Park, Century Lane Park and Ponderosa Park.
Located in South Central Pennsylvania, the club services the areas of Boiling Springs, Camp Hill, Carlisle, Dillsburg, Harrisburg, New Cumberland, York and York Springs. DASC is a member of the Central Pennsylvania Youth Soccer League (CPYSL), Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association (EPYSA) and affiliated with U.S. Youth Soccer.
DASC was founded in 1979 by Gail George. Since that time the club has grown from 42 players to over 700 participants, ages 3 through 19.
Dillsburg Dual Shootout
Each year, DASC hosts one of the region's biggest tournaments over Columbus Day weekend. The Dillsburg Dual Shootout features teams from six states and has built a reputation as one of the finest-run tournaments in the Mid-Atlantic area.
Non-profit standing
Dillsburg Area Soccer Club was established as a non-profit corporation in 1987 under Pennsylvania state laws and is headed by Simon Skudder.
DASC Coaches
All DASC soccer programs are led by professional coaches with the assistance of volunteer coaches.
